Hygiene and Preventive Care

This basically includes cleaning, x-rays, and diagnosing dental diseases in their earliest stages.  This minimizes the amount of treatment needed and increases the likelihood of success for the treatment that is necessary.

The Best Bleaching Procedure Ever Developed

In the past few years, bleaching technology has progressed tremendously and we have the ability to lighten teeth like never before.  Recently, I became trained in the best bleaching procedure ever developed, Deep BleachingTM by California dentist, Dr. Rod Kurthy.  Even older patients (50, 60, 70 or older) who have always had dark teeth can have their teeth successfully bleached utilizing the Deep BleachingTM procedure.  Not only can we return the tooth color to it's color soon after eruption, but beyond, and sometimes way beyond!

Night Guards

Many people grind their teeth often while sleeping, and this can cause a number of problems including worn teeth and headaches. Night guards prevent your teeth from further damage and can help alleviate the pain caused by clenching.

We work with labratories that make a wide array of these appliances. Dr. Denny will recommend the right one for your particular situation. Call us with any questions regarding night guards or to set up your appointment today!

Implant Restorations

Implants to replace missing teeth and help achor dentures are becoming more and more commonplace.  If Dr. Denny can't personally treat your situation, he will direct you to the appropriate specialist to help with your particular needs.

Dr. Denny offers two types of fillings:  silver, or amalgam, and tooth-colored, or composite.

Silver, or amalgam, while somewhat controversial due to the presence of mercury, have been used successfully for over a hundred years. They are still widely used and techniques for placing amalgam fillings continue to be taught at virtually every dental school in the country.

Tooth-colored, or composite, fillings were originally intended for use in front teeth. They are now widely used in back teeth, as well.

Bridges are types of restorations that replace missing teeth.  They are permanently bonded into place and look, feel and function just like natural teeth.  Dr. Denny will discuss with you pros and cons and the types of restorations best for your situation.

Dentures and Partials

These are removable appliances that replace missing teeth.  Only the finest laboratories are used and Dr. Denny will do everything possible to help you adjust to these restorations.

Teeth that have been badly decayed or extensively filled previously often need additional reinforcement to prevent breakage.

Well made crowns are used to help reinforce your existing teeth, and have the abilitiy to last a lifetime.

Veneers are basically "conservative crowns" that are contructed in a lab and made out of porcelain.  Very little tooth structure has to be removed, and these types of restorations can beautifully restore teeth that are decayed, broken, malalligned or miscolored.
